Located on the windward side of the West Maui Forest Reserve near Wailuku, the Waiheʻe Ridge Trail is widely regarded as one of Maui’s best hikes. This moderately challenging out-and-back trail stretches approximately 4 miles (6.4 kilometers) round trip with an elevation gain of about 1,160 feet (350 meters).
